There are 54sq km of the island and 60km of coast. You will note Panteli on the east of Leros.

Airport, Partheni Panteli, lovely beach, really nice tavernas - well it's where we (will be living) live! The Castle (Kastro) Katsouni - marvellous beach, bit of a rocky road to get to, but worth itVromolithos beach. Lovely, half sand, half rocks, some nice tavernas Alinda, great beach - and bars for the younger crowd with loud music! Also some really nice tavernas Gourna beach. Huge, dark sand, lovely for kids as very shallow old boat out of water on pebbly beach Lakki, the biggest harbour, some nice places to eat, no beaches. Blue Star comes in here Xerokambos, beach, tavernas, camping and scuba diving Agia Marina, the second largest port where the hydrofoil and catamaran come in. <p>Nice shops and good places to eat and drink Agios Isidoros, the lovely little church at the end of a causeway Platanos, the old capital although you wouldn't know it now.
