And now for something completely different

There are certain things I cannot have failed to notice about motorbikes and (especially) scooters while living here. They seem to be a matter of choice - if you feel like doing it, do it - if not, hey, no problem

  1. Wear a helmet while on a bike/scooter.... and on that subject
  2. ride a scooter if you're over 12... ish
  3. indicate that you're turning
  4. stop when you see a friend, or a shop you want to go in or.... just because you want to, and don't bother indicating or give a clue because that would be cheating
  5. ride your scooter alongside your friend on his/her scooter and have a chat
  6. have a cigarette while travelling on your scooter
  7. have a conversation on your mobile phone while travelling on your scooter, with or without a cigarette
  8. see how many people you can get on a scooter (I've counted 4, apparently mother, father and 2 children)
  9. If you need to transport a wheelbarrow, get your mate to go pillion and pull it behind
  10. No friend on hand? Have the wheel poking over your shoulder and the base riding pillion
  11. You and your pillion passenger eat an ice cream while riding - after all it is hot!
