In August 2004 I was lucky enough to be invited to a
christening. It took place at Agios Isidoros, a wonderful, tiny church
at the end of a causeway. The guests gathered outside as there is no
room inside. Appropriately enough, the little girl's name is Isidora. In
the evening we went to the kafenio on the beach and there was food,
drink and dancing to a live band which, of course, included the bouzouki
and fiddle.
